Principal Experience Designer (Fintech)

Location: New York, United States; hybrid schedule with work from the hirify.global office two days a week.

Salary: $160,000–$241,000 USD annually, plus discretionary annual bonus and benefits.

What you will do

• Lead design for complex and strategic initiatives across hirify.global’s financial technology products.
• Establish organization-wide design patterns and standards and influence design system evolution.
• Drive innovation in financial technology user experience across multiple products.
• Partner with product, engineering, research, customer success, and executive stakeholders on strategy, feasibility, research, and roadmap decisions.
• Present design vision and represent the design perspective in technical and architectural discussions.
• Mentor Lead and Senior Experience Designers and contribute to senior design hiring decisions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of design experience with deep expertise in enterprise software.
• Experience leading complex, multi-team design initiatives.
• Strong systems thinking, design pattern recognition, and ability to combine strategic planning with detailed execution.
• Ability to translate complex financial concepts into clear, actionable interfaces.
• Experience mentoring senior designers and design leaders and facilitating cross-functional stakeholder alignment.
• Ability to work in a hybrid model from the New York office two days per week.
