Senior Engineer - Cloud (AI)

Location: Hybrid, open to candidates in the Israel area; Tel Aviv office

Cybersecurity product company building an AI-native platform and SaaS Security Posture Management solutions that help enterprises secure their SaaS ecosystems.

What you will do

• Develop and maintain highly scalable backend systems that process customer data from diverse sources.
• Design, build, optimize, deploy, maintain, and monitor services that provide insight into security posture, risks, and gaps.
• Use Claude Code for feature planning, coding, testing, code review, profiling, benchmarking, and production investigation.
• Build internal AI tooling, including Claude Code skills, plugins, MCP servers, hooks, and project context.
• Own software quality, including reviewing, verifying, and testing AI-generated code.
• Collaborate with Product, Customer Success, Support, and other engineering teams while keeping services healthy.

Requirements

• 4+ years of backend cloud systems development experience with a high-level language, including 3+ years with Python.
• Experience working on large-scale systems and handling scaling issues.
• Hands-on experience using AI coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Copilot in daily development.
• Strong engineering judgment for directing AI agents and critically reviewing their output.
• Experience using AI technologies to improve decision-making, workflows, efficiency, and business outcomes.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience, with proficiency in algorithms, data structures, and code whiteboarding.

Nice to have

• Deep familiarity with Python internals.
• Experience with MongoDB, Parquet, DuckDB, or microservice infrastructure.
• Experience extending AI coding tools or building MCP servers.
• Experience with context engineering, prompt design, build debugging, code review, or operations.
