Senior Manager, Global Procurement (Apparel)

What you will do

• Define and execute procurement category strategy, commercial roadmaps, vendor distribution plans, and short- and long-term targets.
• Own competitive RFPs from vendor identification through award and negotiate pricing and commercial terms with Tier 1 and Tier 2 manufacturing partners.
• Create and apply component-level clean sheets, approve buy plans, and establish launch and scale costing targets.
• Partner with material managers, sourcing teams, merchandising, production, technology, and manufacturing vendors to optimize material availability and finished-goods costs.
• Identify value-creation opportunities through verticalization, volume consolidation, upstream sourcing, and commodity strategies.
• Deliver a 700 bps product cost reduction target while maintaining quality, supply continuity, and ESG standards.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in global procurement, sourcing, or supply chain management in retail apparel.
• Experience running competitive RFPs with international manufacturing partners.
• Hands-on experience building and using clean sheets for cost negotiation.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and commercial skills with a data-driven approach.
• Experience working cross-functionally with merchandising, materials, and production teams.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or an advanced degree is a plus.

• Experience in apparel, soft goods, or home goods.
• Technical aptitude with AI-powered platforms and LLMs for scenario analysis and procurement automation.
