What you will do
- Support Category Leads with procurement activities for new product development and innovation projects.
- Maintain procurement project plans, action trackers, milestones, and status reports.
- Coordinate supplier specifications, forecasts, timelines, quotations, samples, technical documents, and project updates.
- Review and compare supplier pricing, minimum-order quantities, lead times, payment terms, tooling, and other charges.
- Prepare quotation comparisons, maintain accurate cost records, and support savings and cost-avoidance evidence.
- Attend project and launch-readiness meetings and track supplier approval and material readiness through product launch.
Requirements
- Some experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain, project administration, or supplier coordination.
- Strong numerical and analytical ability with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Strong organization and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple actions and deadlines.
- Professional written and verbal communication skills and confidence following up with suppliers and stakeholders.
- Proficiency with spreadsheets and standard business software.
- Willingness to learn procurement, sourcing, and manufacturing processes.
