Immigration Paralegal (Business Immigration)

Location: Hybrid role based in the Washington, DC, Dallas, or Miami office, with a flexible in-office/remote working arrangement.

Salary: $64,700–$103,475 annually for positions in Washington, DC.

What you will do

• Prepare and file employment-based immigrant and non-immigrant visa petitions and applications, including H-1B, L-1, O-1, EB-1/2/3, PERM, adjustment of status, EAD, and advance parole filings.
• Gather information and supporting documents from clients and keep them informed about case progress.
• Respond to immigration inquiries and maintain clear, timely communication with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Enter and update case information, run workload and expiration reports, and maintain data in the immigration case management system.
• Manage caseloads, track critical deadlines, and ensure timely completion of work.
• Attend team meetings and continuing education programs or seminars.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university.
• Two to four years of business immigration experience, preferably in a law firm setting.
• Experience with immigrant and non-immigrant petitions and applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to work with external clients and personnel at all organizational levels.
• Excellent prioritization, time management, attention to detail, strategic thinking, and adaptability.
• Ability to work under pressure, meet strict deadlines, and work overtime when needed.
