Lead Agent - Ocean Export Customer Service

Location: Petaling Jaya, Selangor, Malaysia

What you will do

• Manage smooth and timely ocean export freight processes, including shipment tracking, delivery coordination, and workflow monitoring.
• Enter operational data accurately and send shipment and customs documentation to customers and brokers.
• Communicate with customers, arrange shipments, respond to quotations and information requests, and provide competitive pricing.
• Coordinate with ocean carriers, co-loaders, trucking companies, sales, account management, and customer development teams.
• Analyze service contract rates, obtain sailing schedules, evaluate vendor performance, and develop corrective action plans where required.
• Maintain compliance with company procedures, government regulations, customer requirements, standard operating procedures, and KPI standards.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management or an equivalent field.
• 1–2 years of related experience in a similar position.
• Good knowledge of computers and Microsoft Office applications.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Effective interpersonal, communication, listening, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Understanding of transportation documentation and terminology is advantageous.
