What you will do
- Manage end-to-end import and export activities for GPUs, ICs, electronic components, equipment, and other critical materials.
- Coordinate commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading or air waybills, certificates of origin, HS codes, permits, and supporting customs documents.
- Monitor shipments from supplier pickup through customs clearance and final delivery, following up on schedules, ETAs, delays, and urgent deliveries.
- Coordinate with customs brokers, freight forwarders, courier companies, suppliers, and Malaysian authorities.
- Investigate clearance and delivery issues, including HS classification, valuation, permits, document discrepancies, and customs queries.
- Improve SOPs, documentation, forwarder performance, clearance lead times, and shipment recovery processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, logistics, international trade, engineering, business administration, or a related field.
- 1–5 years of experience in logistics, import/export, customs clearance, freight forwarding, or supply chain.
- Hands-on experience with Malaysia import/export processes and customs clearance.
- Knowledge of HS code classification, import permits, certificates of origin/Form E, customs declarations, customs valuation, Incoterms, and air and sea freight.
- Strong Excel and data analysis skills; ERP experience such as Oracle or SAP is an advantage.
- Malay, English, and Mandarin language skills are required. Ability to work independently, manage urgent shipments, coordinate multiple parties, and resolve issues is expected.

- Experience with electronics, semiconductors, IT hardware, or high-value equipment.
- Experience working with customs brokers and international freight forwarders.
