Import Logistics Coordinator

What you will do

• Receive and verify customer shipping instructions and documents, and create shipment jobs in the Meridian system.
• Enter shipment and customer data accurately and maintain operational documentation.
• Prepare and submit customs declarations, monitor approvals, and coordinate with customs authorities or brokers.
• Submit import/export shipping declarations and monitor containers from release through gate-in at the port.
• Coordinate with transporters and warehouse teams to manage timely movement and resolve delays or discrepancies.
• Verify shipment data for billing, prepare billing instructions, support invoicing, and assist with job closure.

Requirements

• Diploma or degree in Supply Chain, Logistics Management, or an equivalent background.
• 1–3 years of experience in the freight forwarding industry, preferably in an export department.
• Ability to multitask and stay beyond regular working hours when necessary to complete jobs.
• Ability to work collaboratively and follow team lead instructions.
• Ability to monitor work status after working hours when required.
