Consultant, Competitive Intelligence – Annuity Variable

Location: Columbus, Ohio, One hirify.global Plaza; hybrid schedule with 3 days in the office and 2 days remote

Salary: $97,000–$180,000 national range; expected starting range $97,000–$145,000 annually

What you will do

• Collect, manipulate, validate, and document competitive intelligence data for annuity business units.
• Conduct statistical analyses, data mining, hypothesis investigation, and competitive rate testing.
• Develop recommendations, project plans, requirements, timelines, and deliverables for complex assignments.
• Maintain competitive intelligence tools, reports, coding, and vendor software.
• Present analytical findings to internal partners, corporate leaders, and executive audiences.
• Lead or participate in interdisciplinary projects, peer reviews, training, and process improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in actuarial science, computer science, business, finance, mathematics, statistics, economics, management information systems, or a related quantitative field.
• Typically 8–10 years of experience in pricing, actuarial, product, or a related business unit, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Strong knowledge of mathematics, statistics, and probability, with demonstrated analytical and problem-solving ability.
• Experience using database software such as SAS, SQL, or comparable applications.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain findings and recommendations to business partners.
• This position does not qualify for employer-sponsored work authorization, and hirify.global does not participate in the STEM OPT Extension program.

Nice to have

• SAS certification.
• Insurance licenses or designations such as CPCU, ARM, CLU, ChFC, FLMI, CFP, or NASD.
• Programming or web development experience.
