Engineer, Software Engineer (Post Issue Optimization) - Java, Angular, and AWS - Entry Level (Java, Angular, AWS)

Location: Hybrid schedule in Columbus, Ohio, with office attendance at Three hirify.global Plaza two days per week on Mondays and Tuesdays.

Salary: $60,900–$91,300 expected starting annual salary range; national range of $60,900–$113,300.

What you will do

• Develop, test, debug, document, deploy, and maintain software applications.
• Build and modify custom-built or packaged applications supporting hirify.global Financial.
• Apply secure software and systems engineering practices throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Use DevSecOps practices, tools, and techniques to protect data and technology solutions.
• Review project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables while supporting continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with business partners and cross-functional engineering teams in an agile environment.

Requirements

• Hybrid work in the Columbus, Ohio office two days per week is required.
• Employer-sponsored work authorization is not available, and the role does not qualify for the STEM OPT Extension program.
• One or more years of technology experience in an early-career role.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, C++, Python, or JavaScript.
• Knowledge of the software development lifecycle and strong problem-solving skills.
• Undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, or a related field are preferred; relevant technology experience or non-traditional technology certificates may substitute.

Nice to have

• Experience with Java, Angular, and AWS.
• Insurance or financial services industry knowledge.
