Software Developer (GenAI)

Location: Washington, DC, United States; customer engagements may take place on-site, in hybrid, or remote formats as required, with occasional travel to customer locations across the United States.

Salary: $140,000–$180,000 per year.

What you will do

• Integrate the LIGER GenAI platform into customers’ existing business processes.
• Build new platform features and customer-specific enhancements using full-stack development practices.
• Deploy and initially configure LIGER, supporting customers for 60–180 days after sale before transition to a long-term project team.
• Conduct proof-of-concept demonstrations and provide technical consulting throughout integration and deployment.
• Document customer requirements, communicate feedback to product teams, and troubleshoot deployment issues.
• Collaborate with product management, engineering, and support teams while occasionally traveling to customer sites.

Requirements

• Active Secret clearance required; Top Secret clearance preferred.
• Advanced Python proficiency and extensive PostgreSQL experience.
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, NLP, AI technologies, and production problem-solving.
• Experience with the MEAN stack, TypeScript full-stack development, Angular, and web applications.
• Knowledge of Docker, CI/CD with GitLab, APIs, software lifecycle and security principles.
• Familiarity with AWS GovCloud and DoD or federal environments, plus willingness to travel occasionally.

Nice to have

• Federal-sector sales engineering and experience building strategic customer relationships.
• DoD cybersecurity, vulnerability management, Kubernetes, MCP tools, and Unix/Linux experience.
• Experience with AWS GovCloud, containerized applications, and technical leadership.
