Senior AWS Java Full Stack Developer

Location: Hybrid role based in Lafayette, Louisiana; Knoxville, Tennessee; Columbia, South Carolina; or Birmingham, Alabama

Salary: $97,300–$156,700 per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, and enhance cloud-native enterprise applications.
• Build Java and Spring Boot backend services, microservices, REST APIs, and Angular/TypeScript web applications.
• Deploy and support applications in AWS environments using Python, Terraform, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and unit, integration, and automated tests.
• Improve application resilience, security, observability, performance, monitoring, and logging.
• Own development work from requirements and design through production support within an Agile/Scrum team.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Advanced Java experience with strong Spring Boot, REST API, and microservices expertise.
• Hands-on full-stack experience with Angular and TypeScript.
• Strong experience with AWS, Python, Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, and GitLab CI/CD.
• Experience with automated testing, troubleshooting, observability, secure enterprise applications, and Agile/Scrum development.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Experience in financial services or banking.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications.
• Experience with distributed and cloud-native application environments.
