Program Manager (Enterprise Technology Development) – Sanford Advanced Manufacturing

Location: Sanford, North Carolina; onsite five days per week. High travel of 50–75% may be required during construction planning, supplier reviews, equipment installation, commissioning, startup, and production ramp-up. US domestic relocation is available. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $147,760–$221,640 per year

What you will do

• Lead enterprise, manufacturing, engineering, operations, and site technology workstreams from planning through implementation, launch, stabilization, and transition.
• Develop integrated project plans, milestones, readiness reviews, risk registers, dashboards, dependency tracking, and leadership updates.
• Coordinate solution selection, design, implementation, integration, validation, testing, training readiness, and go-live approvals.
• Align business, site, manufacturing, engineering, technology, vendor, and implementation-partner teams around operational requirements and launch objectives.
• Manage risks, scope, schedule, quality, resources, decisions, partner performance, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate go-live issue resolution, stabilization, and transition to ongoing support.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in information technology, business, engineering, operations, program management, or a related field.
• Experience leading complex programs with interconnected technology platforms, concurrent deployment workstreams, external vendors, and cross-functional dependencies.
• Experience with technology deployment or integrated site-readiness programs in manufacturing or operational environments, including greenfield launches, expansions, or production ramp-ups.
• Experience coordinating solution selection, design, implementation, integration, validation, launch preparation, go-live support, stabilization, and transition.
• Experience managing vendors, contractors, implementation partners, deliverables, dependencies, and service expectations.
• Strong analytical, communication, presentation, problem-solving, risk-management, and reporting skills.

Nice to have

• Project or program management certification such as PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, Agile, Scrum, or an equivalent credential.
• Familiarity with enterprise, manufacturing, engineering, operations, data, automation, infrastructure, cybersecurity, application, or operational-support technologies.
