Field Service Technician (Electromechanical)

Location: Western Melbourne Metro, based at Boundary Rd, Truganina VIC 3029, Australia; daily field travel and occasional overnight travel required

What you will do

• Service, maintain, repair, clean, and upkeep reverse vending machines and bulk processing equipment.
• Diagnose conveyors, sensors, motors, mobile communications, and other electromechanical systems.
• Install kiosks and bulk processing systems at new sites.
• Report service assignments, equipment faults, and product improvement opportunities.
• Provide customer service to partners and members of the public.

Requirements

• Certificate III in Electrical/Electronic Trade, a Disconnect-Reconnect licence, or relevant experience in a similar role.
• Experience with operating systems, software installation, networking, and mobile telecommunications.
• Strong diagnostic and analytical skills across mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems.
• Experience troubleshooting and replacing circuit boards, sensors, and electronic components.
• Previous customer-facing experience and an unrestricted driver’s licence with a full driving history.
• Availability for a rotating 7-day roster, including weekends, daily field travel, and occasional overnight travel.
