What you will do
- Execute and coordinate 24x7 data center operations, including maintenance and repair of mission-critical equipment.
- Maintain electrical and mechanical infrastructure in accordance with manufacturer guidance, corporate standards, and industry best practices.
- Manage contractors, service providers, consultants, and vendors across maintenance, repairs, construction, and operational activities.
- Develop, review, implement, and audit MOPs, SOPs, EOPs, sequences of operation, and maintenance standards.
- Conduct inspections, facilities rounds, surveys, and root cause troubleshooting while reporting on site performance, power quality, PUE, and vendor metrics.
- Support OH&S compliance, permit-to-work controls, risk assessments, hazard identification, and incident reporting.
Requirements
- Technical trade license, certification, or equivalent training in electrical, mechanical, facilities, or a related discipline.
- Preferably 3+ years of experience supporting 24x7 data center operations or other mission-critical facilities.
- Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical infrastructure, including switchgear, transformers, UPS, generators, PDUs, chillers, CRAH/CRAC units, cooling towers, pumps, fire systems, and BMS controls.
- Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and root cause investigation skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder management skills when working with clients, internal teams, contractors, and service providers.
- Proficiency with CMMS, DCIM, BMS, and Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
