Design Engineer (AI)

Location: Hybrid in Stockholm or London

What you will do

• Ship member-facing experiences across apps, web, wearables, clinic screens, and scan rooms.
• Translate designs from Figma into production code and create rapid coded prototypes.
• Build and own a cross-platform design system, including component contracts, design tokens, and motion language.
• Drive adoption by migrating existing products and replacing duplicated components.
• Create a typed and documented design system that supports both engineers and AI coding tools.
• Evaluate new AI models and design tooling and improve the product development workflow.

Requirements

• Deep frontend experience with React, React Native, and TypeScript, with a portfolio of shipped work.
• Strong product and visual judgment across interaction design, spacing, motion, typography, accessibility, and performance.
• Experience building or owning a design system adopted by other engineers.
• Ability to move quickly from ideas to production across the stack when needed.
• Advanced Figma experience, including variables and design-token pipelines with multi-platform output.
• Daily use of AI coding tools while maintaining detailed quality control.

Nice to have

• Native mobile animation experience with Reanimated, Lottie, Rive, or similar tools.
• Experience building LLM-powered interfaces or AI-driven products.
• Experience designing for wearables or physical hardware screens.
• Healthcare experience or work in a field where trust and clarity are central to the product.
