Senior Specialist, Site EHS (Semiconductor)

Location: Kaohsiung Science Park, Kaohsiung City, Taiwan; responsible for the Kaohsiung Luzhu factory

What you will do

• Implement and continuously improve the site EHS program to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and hirify.global requirements.
• Manage equipment safety, including risk assessments, certifications, audits, and controls for automated, fire-risk, and explosion-risk equipment.
• Support Process Safety Management projects, including Taiwan hazardous workplace assessments and global PSSR, MI, and LOTOTO initiatives.
• Lead fire safety, damage prevention, hazardous materials, explosion-proof area, utility, production equipment, and EHS change-management activities.
• Conduct safety inspections, contractor construction audits, equipment safety inspections, workplace observations, statutory training, and accident or incident investigations.
• Develop corrective and preventive actions and promote safety culture, awareness, and accountability as part of the site management team.

Requirements

• Master's degree in safety, environmental engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 7 years of EHS management experience in the semiconductor, optoelectronics, or chemical industries.
• Class B Occupational Safety and Health Management certificate and Process Safety Assessment Personnel certificate.
• Experience working with SEMI, NFPA, FM/UL standards, and local Taiwanese EHS regulations.
• Project management, proactive problem-solving, and strong communication skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English required for communication with the global team.
