Group Leader (Engineering)

Location: Linkou, Taiwan. Normal shifts are 8:00 am–5:00 pm or 9:00 am–6:00 pm. Occasional business travel is required, with annual travel below 10%; out-of-hours conference calls may occur when business needs require.

hirify.global develops advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment and operates a large-scale engineering organization at its Linkou Factory.

What you will do

• Manage the Process Preparation and Improvement engineering group, supervising two Team Leaders and two Technical Leaders.
• Lead approximately 20–30 Production Engineers across mechatronics, mechanical layout, electrical layout, software, flow and temperature, and contamination competencies.
• Set the long-term vision and mission for the organization and develop employees, technical leaders, and team leaders.
• Drive efficiency improvements, New Product Introduction to high-volume production, engineering changes, and cross-sector engineering communication.
• Manage critical technical projects, tooling capital-budget planning and execution, performance bottlenecks, content and volume expansion, and urgent escalations.
• Provide technical input, influence stakeholders, support decision-making, and present required decisions to senior hirify.global leaders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• More than five years of leadership and management experience.
• Fluent English is required.
• Experience with large-scale cross-sector project management and New Product Introduction.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including Global 8 Discipline or relevant processes.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, communication, initiative, and business-insight skills.
