Senior UIR Engineer (Semiconductor)

hirify.global develops and supports semiconductor manufacturing systems, with Customer Support responsible for installation, qualification, repair, maintenance, and customer know-how transfer.

What you will do

• Install, align, test, upgrade, and relocate semiconductor equipment at customer sites.
• Analyze system problems, collect diagnostic information, determine solutions, and adapt action plans as needed.
• Execute hardware upgrades, system setup and recovery, field swaps, and installation procedures.
• Coordinate machine time windows, parts, tools, equipment, documentation, and technical information with customers and stakeholders.
• Drive process improvements, train customers, and provide guidance on equipment use and non-routine maintenance.
• Exchange technical knowledge across teams and coach junior engineers on multiple systems and products.

Requirements

• Senior-level experience as a UIR engineer, with thorough relevant work experience.
• BSc degree in a relevant technical field such as electrical technology, mechatronics, or mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Professional experience in the semiconductor industry.
• Specialized knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, or electronics; semiconductor processes; and relevant software.
• Experience with computer applications, data analysis tools, word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software.
• Ability to work flexibly across different settings and locations in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment while maintaining customer focus.
