Process Engineer (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Develop, optimize, simplify, and improve pre-assembly, die bond, and wire bond processes.
• Troubleshoot manufacturing processes and improve yield while reducing defects.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement improvements for process sustainability.
• Design and execute Design of Experiment (DOE) projects for process improvement.
• Evaluate raw materials to support cost reduction, quality improvement, and shorter process lead times.
• Perform line audits and collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve process discrepancies.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering.
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in an IC or semiconductor manufacturing environment.
• Experience with wire bonding, die attach, and pre-assembly processes.
• Knowledge of SPC, QCC 7 tools, DOE, and structured problem-solving methods.
• Knowledge of material, process, and specification writing.
