Engineer, Manufacturing Engineering (Sputter Process)

What you will do

• Plan, coordinate, and follow up on sputter system start-up, conversion, and process documentation activities.
• Audit sputter parameters, online SPC monitoring, and procedure conformance.
• Troubleshoot sputter process and yield issues with shift process and yield teams to improve utilization, downtime, yield, and quality.
• Lead process improvement projects covering utilization, cost, quality, PPH, FMEA, new products, machines, and process qualification.
• Lead and support sputter process characterization and qualification for new products, machines, and process changes.
• Supervise, coach, and train junior engineers, process technicians, engineering specialists, and characterization technicians.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Materials, Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, Electronic Engineering, or Physics.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in sputter process engineering is preferred, ideally in semiconductor or electronics manufacturing.
• Knowledge of metrology principles, techniques, and industry standards such as ISO and ASTM.
• Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting, analytical, statistical analysis, and data interpretation skills.
• Strong technical report writing, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and follow safety and health rules.
