Service Technician III (HVACR)

Location: Irving, Texas, United States of America. On-site work at office and customer facilities, with travel up to 50% of the time.

Provides installation, maintenance, repair, and customer support for commercial food equipment.

What you will do

• Install mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, gas, and refrigeration commercial food equipment.
• Diagnose, maintain, repair, and complete preventive maintenance for customer equipment.
• Interpret service manuals, schematic diagrams, mechanical diagrams, and sequences of operation.
• Plan and lead advanced installations and support new product introductions.
• Document service work, manage assigned vehicles, tools, and inventory, and follow safety procedures.
• Provide customer support, identify equipment and contract leads, and contribute to service quality.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• 4–7 years of food equipment service experience and/or 2–4 years of HVACR service experience.
• In-depth mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, gas, and/or refrigeration knowledge with complex troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to use service tools and equipment, read technical diagrams, and follow service manuals.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs, climb ladders, work in confined spaces, drive extensively, and operate power tools and vehicles.
• Ability to work at customer facilities in Irving, Texas, with up to 50% travel and occasional nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours.

Nice to have

• Associate degree or vocational certificate.
• Experience with commercial cooking or refrigeration equipment.
• CFESA, NATE, or Hobart Accredited Certified Technician certification.
• EPA certification.
