Engineering Technician II (HVAC)

Location: Memphis, Tennessee, United States; onsite work in laboratory, testing, and manufacturing environments

What you will do

• Conduct performance, reliability, validation, and product testing according to established procedures.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and operational issues identified during testing.
• Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Collect, analyze, and document test data to support engineering decisions and product improvements.
• Assist with prototype assembly, test setup, instrumentation, laboratory activities, and equipment calibration.
• Support engineering changes, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Associate degree in Mechanical Technology, Electrical Technology, HVAC Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in engineering support, testing, manufacturing, laboratory operations, or a related technical field.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, mechanical, and electrical systems and testing methodologies.
• Experience using testing equipment, diagnostic instruments, and hand tools.
• Ability to analyze technical data, troubleshoot problems, communicate effectively, and work independently or collaboratively.
• Ability to work safely in laboratory, testing, and manufacturing environments, including elevated areas or confined spaces, and lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
