Technical Program Manager, Robotics Solution Delivery

Location: Mountain View, California, United States. The role requires domestic and regular international travel to visit partners and customers.

Base salary: $163,200–$223,040 per year, plus a 15% bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Deliver automation technology and robotic solutions to industrial customers and partners.
• Coordinate internal development and external delivery engagements from scope definition through completion.
• Align stakeholders on scope, timelines, feasibility, quality, and acceptable risk.
• Track delivery status, risks, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Represent deliveries in leadership updates and escalate issues requiring guidance.
• Improve shared program standards and processes to support delivery at scale.

Requirements

• Experience applying technical program or project management practices, including scoping, planning, risk analysis, timeline estimation, and status tracking.
• Experience managing collaborative external projects from start to finish, including scope negotiation, stakeholder management, and priority alignment.
• Strong critical thinking and facilitation skills for balancing competing needs and technical constraints.
• Clear, concise communication with external partners and customers.
• Experience navigating cultural nuances and building international relationships.
• Master of Science in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience with technical concepts.

Nice to have

• Technical program or project management experience in robotic automation and robotic solution deployment.
• Understanding of conventional robotics, automation systems, mechatronic systems engineering, and functional safety.
• Familiarity with machine learning, computer vision, automated motion planning, and reactive sensor control.
• Experience in machine tending automation.
• Confident German writing and speaking skills.
