Technical Program Lead, Public Sector (AI)

Location: Public-sector role supporting government customers; requires travel at least 25% of the time.

What you will do

• Lead and mentor Technical Program Managers responsible for key technical delivery areas.
• Own the technical shape of AI-enabled planning and decision-support solutions, including product integrations, extensions, and bespoke builds.
• Plan and sequence releases with engineering while identifying technical risks and communicating trade-offs to stakeholders.
• Translate operational needs into executable delivery decisions for senior government stakeholders and end users.
• Partner with engineering, operations, product, and public-sector teams to deliver computer vision and generative AI systems.
• Build reusable capabilities, improve existing solutions, and manage long-term technical risks across the customer base.

Requirements

• Active TS/SCI clearance required.
• 7+ years of experience in stakeholder management or customer-facing roles.
• Experience leading or mentoring program managers, engineers, or other technical staff.
• Ownership of technical delivery for a complex, multi-workstream program involving senior government or enterprise stakeholders.
• Technical background in computer science, economics, statistics, engineering, or a related field.
• Deep understanding of ML operations, software delivery pipelines, DevOps principles, and analytics-driven problem-solving.

Nice to have

• 10+ years of professional experience in customer-facing technical program management.
• Experience in a Department of War, Intelligence Community, or combatant command operational environment.
• Experience delivering technical platforms or products used by other teams, including integration, versioning, and support considerations.
• Hands-on fluency with Python, SQL, and modern AI/ML tooling.
