Technical Program Manager (AI/ML)

Location: Remote worldwide; candidates within 1–2 hours of British Standard Time (BST) are highly prioritized. Offices are available in London, Toronto, New York City, San Francisco, Montreal, Paris, Berlin, and Seoul.

What you will do

• Establish, improve, and scale processes that help generative modeling teams execute faster and more predictably.
• Scale the operational capacity and effectiveness of the Modeling Technical Program Management function.
• Lead long-term programs and ambiguous short-term initiatives with company-wide impact.
• Partner with leaders on designing, training, and improving core generative models.
• Coordinate cross-functional programs with Product, Engineering, Legal, Platform, Infrastructure, Policy, and Finance.
• Map dependencies and risks, communicate status, and manage changing scope and resource needs.

Requirements

• 5–10 years of experience as a Technical Program Manager and 5+ years working directly on AI/ML.
• In-depth knowledge of machine learning, especially Natural Language Processing and Large Language Models.
• Experience managing AI/ML development programs and understanding their challenges beyond traditional software program management.
• Ability to operate in a fast-paced, ambiguous, low-structure environment at both tactical and strategic levels.
• Experience coordinating with business functions such as Finance and Policy on reporting and regulatory compliance.
• Strong preference for candidates within 1–2 hours of British Standard Time (BST).

Nice to have

• Experience building foundation models.
• Experience with Multimodal AI.
• Hands-on technical experience, including familiarity with complex machine learning research and development.
