General Accountant

Location: Remote - United States

Base compensation: $110,000–$140,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Own and execute the month-end close, ensuring accurate and complete financial data.
• Analyze variances, explain financial movements, and monitor trends.
• Support complex and non-routine transactions, coordinating with Tax and Legal teams.
• Manage statutory, tax, regulatory, and statistical filings, financial statements, audits, and compliance calendars.
• Post and document statutory and tax adjustments in ERP systems and ensure consistency across reporting tools.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in general accounting or financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience in multinational or multi-entity environments.
• Familiarity with statutory and tax compliance processes.
• Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite experience is a plus.
• Advanced Excel skills and a strong analytical mindset.
• Professional English proficiency is required. Applicants must be authorized to work in the country in which they apply and provide proof of employment eligibility.
