Manager, Accounting (SaaS)

Location: San Francisco, CA preferred; hybrid near a local office, with remote candidates considered within the United States. Availability during core business hours is required, and travel may be required.

Salary: $133,200–$159,840 per year, with potential equity and discretionary bonus eligibility.

What you will do

• Lead and improve Cost of Revenue corporate accounting processes.
• Oversee monthly close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, account classifications, and balance sheet and income statement analysis.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP, SOX guidelines, and internal accounting policies.
• Identify SOX impacts from process and system changes and partner with Internal Audit on controls documentation.
• Manage COR accounting assignments, chart of accounts, financial reports, and issue resolution.
• Support SEC Reporting with 10-Q/K footnotes, accounting policy reviews, and process improvement initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
• 7+ years of progressive accounting experience, including manager-level experience at a publicly traded company.
• Experience with fixed asset and internal-use software accounting.
• Experience with NetSuite.
• Ability to lead projects, build cross-functional relationships, manage priorities, and drive processes to completion.
• Ability to evaluate and apply AI tools responsibly while maintaining accuracy and controls.

Nice to have

• Audit experience and CPA license.
• Experience with FloQast, Coupa, AuditBoard, or G-Suite.
• Finance transformation, system implementation, or cross-team project management experience.
