Maintenance Manager

Location: On-site at the Henri van de Bilt plant in Beuningen, Netherlands

What you will do

• Ensure production safety and the reliable operation of machinery and technical equipment.
• Plan and implement machine, facility, and equipment improvements within budget and plant requirements.
• Coordinate maintenance activities, service contracts, maintenance intervals, spare parts procurement, and stock levels.
• Analyse machine downtime, improve equipment reliability, and provide troubleshooting support to production and other departments.
• Plan and lead local technical projects, coordinate external suppliers, and monitor maintenance budgets.
• Lead and develop the technical department while ensuring occupational safety, fire protection, hygiene, environmental compliance, documentation, and HACCP responsibilities.

Requirements

• Completed technical education at HBO level or an engineering degree in mechanical, electrical, industrial, or a related field; relevant vocational qualifications or comparable technical experience may also be considered.
• Experience in technical maintenance in a manufacturing environment, preferably food production and multi-shift operations.
• Experience in a leadership role.
• Strong planning and organisational skills with a quality-conscious, solution-oriented, and flexible approach.
• Valid working permit required.
