Customer Support Engineer (Semiconductor Automation)

Location: Onsite in Xinshi District, Tainan City, Taiwan; the role may support assigned customer sites or products across the Taiwan region and requires domestic and international travel of up to 60%.

Salary: NT$942,999.64–NT$1,275,823.04 TWD per year

What you will do

• Install, modify, repair, and perform preventive maintenance on Brooks equipment and automation systems.
• Diagnose complex equipment malfunctions, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Perform onsite customer support and verify the operational quality of installed systems.
• Instruct customers on system operation and maintenance.
• Coordinate work direction for service engineers and installation support as a local, shift, or site Customer Support Engineer when required.
• Provide field support for hardware, software, PCs, and wired or wireless networking.

Requirements

• Associate’s, bachelor’s, or master’s degree in mechanical, electrical, electronic, or a related engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Intermediate English proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
• Systematic troubleshooting skills and the ability to resolve problems independently and implement corrective action.
• Proficiency with PCs, Windows-based operating systems, and standard software for reports, presentations, and daily documentation.
• Availability for onsite cleanroom work wearing a full cleanroom suit, emergency on-call support, and domestic and international travel.
