Intel Foundry Advanced Device Development Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Onsite at hirify.global's Taipei office, Taiwan

What you will do

• Design, execute, and analyze experiments for leading-edge silicon transistor technology.
• Lead device and process engineering activities to develop high-volume-capable technologies meeting performance, yield, and reliability requirements.
• Coordinate with integration, module, design, modeling, reliability, and foundry technology teams.
• Support delivery of high-quality Process-Design Kits through silicon-to-simulation correlation, layout-effect validation, and electrical monitor analysis.
• Define test structures and test programs for advanced design-rule validation and device-parameter extraction.
• Apply statistics, data mining, and engineering analysis to electrical-test, yield, and fab data.

Requirements

• Master's degree, preferably a Ph.D., in electrical engineering, electrical and computer engineering, or electrical engineering and computer science related to semiconductors.
• 10+ years of experience in the advanced-node semiconductor industry.
• Experience with semiconductor materials, fabrication, device physics, or electrical characterization of semiconductor devices.
• Experience leading device and process engineering teams and managing priorities, performance, and career development.
• Onsite presence at the Taipei hirify.global office, Taiwan, is required.

Nice to have

• Advanced transistor structures and device physics expertise.
• Process-monitoring test-structure design and layout experience.
• Device and circuit simulation experience.
• SPC, DOE, database structures, analytics tools, scripting, or programming experience with tools such as JMP, MATLAB, Octave, JSL, Perl, TCL, Python, SQL, or C/C++.
• Experience with agentic AI, orchestrated LLM workflows, machine learning, deep learning, RAG, knowledge engineering, or dataflow pipeline architectures.
