Intel Foundry Advanced Device Development Engineer (Semiconductor)

Location: Onsite at the hirify.global office in Taipei, Taiwan

What you will do

• Design, execute, and analyze experiments to meet semiconductor process engineering specifications.
• Lead scientific research enabling the manufacture of innovative device architectures.
• Set advanced device performance targets for Process Design Kit releases and interface with design and foundry partners on circuit-level issues.
• Assess silicon-to-simulation health and readiness for high-volume manufacturing.
• Define test structures and test programs to validate advanced design rules and extract key device parameters.
• Analyze electrical-test, yield, and fab data using statistics and data-mining techniques to guide future development.

Requirements

• Master’s degree with at least 2 years of industry experience, or a PhD, in electrical engineering, electrical and computer engineering, or electrical engineering and computer science related to semiconductors.
• At least 6 months of experience with semiconductor materials, fabrication, device physics, or electrical characterization of semiconductor devices.
• Knowledge of advanced transistor structures and device physics.
• Experience with process-monitoring test-structure design and layout, device and circuit simulation, or statistical process control and design of experiments.
• Experience with analytics or programming tools such as JMP, MATLAB, Octave, JSL, Perl, TCL, Python, SQL, C, or C++.

Nice to have

• Expertise in agentic AI, orchestrated LLM workflows, machine learning, deep learning, retrieval-augmented generation, knowledge engineering, or dataflow pipeline architectures.
