Senior Software Engineer (C#/.NET)

Location: Work at home in Pennsylvania, United States; US citizenship required due to contractual and access requirements

What you will do

• Design software specifications, system architectures, and technical solutions for scalable applications.
• Develop maintainable, fault-tolerant code using C#/.NET, Entity Framework Core, SQL Server, and Azure.
• Translate product ideas, user stories, and design prototypes into working applications.
• Participate in Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, story creation, code reviews, testing, and production delivery.
• Monitor application scalability, performance, reliability, and progress against project plans.
• Mentor associate and intermediate software engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a closely related field.
• US citizenship required.
• At least 5 years of experience with software architecture, algorithms, data structures, design patterns, and scalable highly available systems.
• At least 5 years of experience with C#/.NET, SQL Server, and Entity Framework Core, plus 3 or more years with React and TypeScript.
• At least 5 years of experience with web services such as REST, HTTPS, and JSON, and with fault-tolerant, maintainable application development.
• Experience with Agile Scrum, unit testing, code reviews, source control, build processes, testing, and operations.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure App Service and Azure SQL Database.
• Experience designing healthcare technology systems and applications.
• Experience with Java, Python, JavaScript, Angular, Node, NoSQL, HTML5, CSS, Google Cloud Platform, or Amazon Web Services.
