Production Coordinator (Food Manufacturing): Coordinating food manufacturing schedules, resources, documentation, training, production reporting, and operational workflows with an accent on safety, quality, HACCP compliance, and production visibility. Focus on maintaining OEE and master data, resolving cross-functional issues, coordinating bulk ingredient receiving, and supporting continuous improvement and food waste management.

Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada; onsite food manufacturing environment

Salary: $55,000–$60,000 CAD annually

What you will do

  • Coordinate production scheduling, resource allocation, budgets, SOPs, and cross-functional workflows.
  • Track production progress, batch yields, variances, OEE, master data, KPIs, and daily operational commentary.
  • Prepare production documents, schedules, loading sheets, reports, and communication-board action logs using SAP, PCS7, and Microsoft Office.
  • Coordinate production training, maintain training records, and manage operator time logs in DayForce.
  • Liaise with customer service, supply chain, vendors, suppliers, and contractors to support materials, services, and timely delivery.
  • Support safety compliance, bulk ingredient receiving, food waste improvement projects, DOR meetings, and production-supervisor coverage.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration or a related field.
  • 1–2 years of relevant experience, preferably in food manufacturing.
  • Industrial Millwright Licence (433A) required.
  • Practical knowledge of operations, equipment safety standards, HACCP, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to organize, plan, and execute tasks independently in a fast-paced, multitasking environment.
  • Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, conflict-resolution, and change-facilitation skills.
