Capacity & Demand Planner (Supply Chain)

What you will do

• Develop and improve structured demand and capacity planning processes.
• Gather market, promotional, and customer intelligence from Customer Service, Marketing, and Sales to refine forecasts.
• Forecast capacity requirements across facilities, equipment, and staffing using historical data, commercial trends, and business projections.
• Build capacity models, evaluate operational scenarios, and provide recommendations to cross-functional stakeholders.
• Monitor capacity metrics, identify optimization opportunities, and improve planning systems and execution methods.
• Prepare for peak seasons, optimize asset distribution, and create mitigation plans for capacity risks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 4–5 years of experience in demand planning, capacity planning, supply chain analysis, or a related function.
• Experience with analytical tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or R, and strong proficiency with Google Sheets.
• Familiarity with ERP or capacity planning systems such as SAP or Oracle and quantitative forecasting techniques.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, decision-making, and analytical skills, with the ability to work independently and cross-functionally.
