Production Planner III

Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada; regular full-time position at the Mississauga site

What you will do

• Schedule incoming sales orders and manage production work orders to support on-time delivery.
• Monitor forecasts, inventory levels, production capacity, and manufacturing lead times to adjust production plans.
• Maintain production schedules and ERP parameters, including batch sizes and lead times.
• Coordinate material release from the warehouse to production and ensure availability of raw materials, labor, and machine capacity.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Engineering, R&D, and Project Management on production and new product introduction activities.
• Conduct work order accounting close, capacity planning, and impact analysis for engineering changes.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience as a Production Planner.
• College or university degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of forecasting, demand planning, inventory management, and production scheduling.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills, including report writing and documentation.
• Ability to manage competing priorities, work independently, maintain accuracy, and perform under pressure.
• Ability to collaborate in a diverse, cross-functional team environment.

Nice to have

• APICS CPIM certification.
• Experience in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, or FDA QSR-compliant environments.
