Production Planner II

Location: Mississauga, Ontario, Canada; onsite production planning role.

What you will do

• Schedule sales orders and maintain production work orders in the ERP system to support on-time delivery.
• Monitor forecasts, inventory levels, production capacity, and raw-material availability, adjusting plans as needed.
• Coordinate with Customer Service, Supply Chain, Quality, Warehouse, and technical service teams to manage materials, repairs, warranty units, and delivery impacts.
• Maintain ERP scheduling parameters, release work orders, and monitor material flow from the warehouse to production.
• Maintain a rolling 12-month production plan aligned with forecasts and expedite components, work orders, and quality inspections.
• Analyze the production impact of engineering changes and participate in process-improvement projects.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in production planning, inventory management, or supply chain.
• College or university degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Working experience with an MRP system and production planning and scheduling processes.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of forecasting, inventory management, and production scheduling principles.
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills, including report writing and documentation.

Nice to have

• APICS CPIM certification.
• Experience in ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, or FDA QSR-compliant environments.
