Senior Project Manager (Energy Infrastructure)

Location: USA-Remote; travel up to 15% annually may be required, with possible on-call response.

Salary: $111,000–$161,500 base salary per year, plus benefits and potential performance incentives, bonuses, commissions, or equity.

What you will do

• Lead the end-to-end execution of complex energy infrastructure and construction projects across public, institutional, industrial, government, and commercial sectors.
• Direct project strategy and delivery, including constructability reviews, scope definition, procurement planning, estimating, scheduling, commissioning, startup, and operational readiness.
• Manage subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, project teams, resources, expenditures, job cost accounting, and project documentation.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Construction, and Operations leadership throughout design and construction.
• Evaluate technologies and equipment and recommend suitable solutions for each application.
• Implement site safety and health plans, quality assurance and control, startup procedures, manuals, training, and compliance with applicable codes and standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, project management, business management, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• At least 7 years of project management experience in civil infrastructure, electrical, mechanical, turbine/generator, engineering, industrial power construction, or related complex facility infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing complex and multi-site construction, renovation, retrofit, upgrade, building controls and automation, energy services, or renewable technology projects.
• Experience with OSHA safety standards, civil site work, mechanical and electrical systems, engineering practices, regulations, and codes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Project, AutoCAD, and Procore, along with strong technical communication and presentation skills.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing and ability to pass comprehensive background and drug screening checks.

Nice to have

• USACE Construction Quality Management and OSHA certification.
• Experience delivering complex renewable energy projects and managing construction teams on highly complex, multi-site projects.
• Data center project management experience.
• Experience with direct digital energy controls, variable frequency drives, high-efficiency motors, central plant chillers and boilers, nuclear projects, lighting retrofits, warranty requirements, and service requirements.
