Senior Owner's Engineer (Wind)

Location: Remote or based in Salt Lake City, Utah, or Louisville, Colorado, United States; up to 20% travel to project locations and partner offices.

Salary: $108,000–$135,150 per year, plus annual bonus.

What you will do

• Represent hirify.global Clean Energy on wind, solar, and battery energy storage projects while supporting project finance and engineering activities.
• Review production estimates, site suitability evaluations, engineering plans, and technical documentation.
• Support construction quality assurance and quality control, safety activities, and compliance with hirify.global and financing requirements.
• Coordinate Independent Engineer reviews, technical due diligence, site visits, reports, certificates, and project timelines.
• Respond to engineering diligence questions, identify and resolve project risks, and coordinate production estimate updates.
• Support operating facilities through root-cause analysis and initiatives improving efficiency and operational performance.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Engineering or an equivalent technical field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in wind turbine project design, development, and construction.
• Experience with wind project construction, quality control, investor site visits, and debt or tax equity financing.
• Strong technical writing, communication, project management, and case management skills.
• Working knowledge of NEC, NESC, IBC, and NFPA 855 codes.
• Ability to work remotely or from the listed United States locations and travel up to 20%.
