AVP, Platform Strategy - Diversified & Value (Fintech)

Location: New York, NY, United States; hybrid work with required commuting to the nearest hirify.global Hub for in-person meetings, training, and culture events. Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required.

Salary: $90,000–$155,000 USD annually, plus eligibility for an annual performance-based bonus.

What you will do

• Identify and assess growth opportunities for the Diversified & Value Platform.
• Evolve the platform’s long-term strategy with Business Strategy & Development and platform leaders.
• Develop strategy materials and present updates to executive leadership, the Board of Directors, and other stakeholders.
• Monitor competitive activity, industry trends, and emerging developments, communicating business implications.
• Collaborate with portfolio teams on trend research, portfolio strategy updates, partner workshops, and special projects.
• Evaluate acquisition and partnership opportunities and translate recommendations into execution plans and business cases.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree preferred and 5+ years of experience in financial services, fintech, payments, consulting, or a related area; alternatively, a high school diploma/GED and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, strategic planning, or related business strategy roles.
• At least 1 year of experience driving growth strategy for new products, business offerings, or lines of business.
• Advanced experience with Excel and PowerPoint and proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite.
• Ability to solve complex business problems, develop data-driven recommendations, influence stakeholders, and present insights to business leaders.
• Ability and flexibility to travel for business as required.

Nice to have

• Strategy consulting experience.
• Financial services experience, particularly consumer credit.
• Strong quantitative, communication, presentation, interpersonal, and project management skills.
• Experience influencing cross-functional stakeholders at all organizational levels.
