TL;DR
Director Participant Engagement (Financial Services): Leading a regional field team of retirement advisers and counselors to increase plan participation, assets, savings rates, and adoption of retirement products and services with an accent on growth strategy, participant counseling, and regulatory compliance. Focus on developing regional business plans, coaching teams, managing stakeholder relationships, and ensuring fiduciary and FINRA standards are met.

Location: Remote - Nationwide within the United States. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.

Base salary: $105,700.00–$149,275.00 per year, with potential bonus or sales incentives depending on the role and performance.

What you will do

  • Lead a regional field team of retirement advisers and counselors in executing growth strategies and business plans.
  • Increase participation, assets, savings rates, diversification, and wealth accumulation across defined contribution plans, including 457(b), 403(b), and 401(k) plans.
  • Drive adoption of hirify.global products and services, including Managed Accounts through hirify.global Advisory Services.
  • Build a high-accountability environment through coaching, feedback, training, employee development, and consistent service processes.
  • Maintain compliance with regulatory and fiduciary requirements as Supervising Principal and monitor associated records.
  • Partner with plan sponsors, regional personnel, sales leaders, and internal and external stakeholders while managing budgets and supporting sales presentations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field preferred.
  • 7–10 years of experience in the financial services industry.
  • Knowledge of management, training, coaching, leadership, and behavioral change principles.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other technology systems.
  • FINRA Series 6, 63, 26, and 65 registrations required within established timelines; at least two registrations are required for consideration.
  • FINRA fingerprinting and U.S. work authorization without employer sponsorship are required.

Nice to have

  • Previous management experience.
  • Knowledge of financial services, defined contribution plans, and related products and services.
  • Financial services designations such as CFP, ChFC, CRC, or CRPC, or the ability to obtain one within the first year.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving or exceeding performance goals.
