TL;DR

Regional Director, Wirehouses (Finance): Driving business development and relationship management within major Wirehouse advisor channels to increase net new assets (NNA) with an accent on evidence-based investing and asset allocation theory. Focus on scaling territory market share, managing territory P&L, and translating complex factor-based investing into persuasive narratives for sophisticated advisor teams.

Location: Must be based in Northern California (Remote) or be able to work in a hybrid pattern from the Santa Monica office

Salary: $155,000 - $185,000

What you will do

  • Drive strategic sales and territory management for Wirehouse-affiliated Financial Advisors.
  • Proactively generate new advisor relationships and deepen existing partnerships to maximize Net New Assets (NNA).
  • Partner with advisors to transition practices toward fee-based, advisory models.
  • Deliver high-impact presentations on investment philosophy at regional conferences and branch office sessions.
  • Own territory P&L by strategically placing Dimensional’s investment suite to increase revenue and AUM.
  • Coach and mentor junior members of the sales team.

Requirements

  • Must have an established network of Wirehouse relationships (Merrill, MS, UBS, Wells) within Northern California.
  • Valid SIE, Series 7, and Series 63/66 licenses required (SIE and Series 7 must be obtained within 12 weeks of hire).
  • This role is not eligible for Immigration Sponsorship.
  • Bachelor’s Degree required; MBA, CFA, or CIMA designation strongly preferred.
  • Proven track record in External Wholesaling or Financial Services sales.
  • Ability to travel extensively to manage a high-activity territory.
