Technology Commercial Legal Counsel (AI)

Location: New York, United States

Base compensation: $206,400–$258,000 USD per year, plus bonus and equity.

Nebius is building a full-stack AI cloud platform for data and model training, inference, and production deployment, with infrastructure spanning compute, storage, networking, and applied AI.

What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate customer, SaaS, reseller, service level, vendor, and partnership agreements.
• Partner with Go-to-Market teams to advance customer deals while balancing business goals and legal risk.
• Negotiate data processing agreements and support privacy and data protection compliance across relevant markets.
• Coordinate complex cross-border transactions involving internal and external stakeholders.
• Translate commercial, privacy, intellectual property, and copyright considerations into practical recommendations.
• Improve contract templates, negotiation playbooks, and legal workflows for recurring work.

Requirements

• J.D., LL.B., or equivalent law degree and admission to practice in the United States, an EU member state, or Israel.
• 4+ years of relevant legal experience at a law firm, technology company, or both.
• Independent experience drafting and negotiating technology and commercial agreements, including complex enterprise customer contracts.
• Practical experience with DPAs, GDPR, and California and other U.S. state privacy laws.
• Working knowledge of intellectual property and copyright issues relevant to technology agreements.
• Strong commercial judgment, careful drafting, clear communication, and the ability to manage competing deadlines and stakeholders.
