Manager, Risk Management Data Analytics (Healthcare)

Salary: $136,000–$170,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Lead the day-to-day work of analysts and coordinate workloads with department leadership.
• Coach and develop analysts while reviewing work for accuracy, quality, and timely delivery.
• Build relationships with customer success, operations, executives, and other internal stakeholders.
• Develop analytics processes and solutions that improve efficiency and support risk adjustment operations.
• Create internal and customer-facing content that communicates analytical results and business insights.
• Evaluate technology and data resources, including cloud databases and visualization tools, to improve team performance.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience leading and managing in a remote environment.
• At least 3 years of experience with Medicare, ACA, and/or Medicaid risk adjustment models.
• At least 5 years of data analytics and technical experience.
• Strong SQL, cloud data, BI visualization, spreadsheet, and analytical communication skills; experience with Snowflake or Databricks and Sigma, Looker, or Tableau is relevant.
• Strong critical thinking, attention to detail, organization, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Degree or equivalent experience in applied mathematics, computer science, engineering, actuarial science, economics, statistics, business, or a related technical field.

Nice to have

• Advanced experience with Sigma, Snowflake, dbt, SQL, and Python.
• Experience with Jira and Microsoft and Google office productivity tools.
• Healthcare actuarial or medical economics experience focused on risk adjustment valuation and modeling.
• Experience creating executive-level content and managing external customers.
