Strategic Insights Associate, Data Analytics (Healthcare)

Location: Fully remote, open only to candidates residing in Atlanta, Georgia, United States; future work models may potentially include hybrid presence at the associated metro-area hub office.

Salary: $91,659.60–$120,303.23 per year, plus benefits and annual performance bonuses.

What you will do

• Own insights generation and follow-up for a major business unit, serving as a primary contact for senior stakeholders.
• Analyze financial, utilization, and operational data to support data-driven business decisions.
• Translate analytical findings into clear reports and presentations for non-technical colleagues and leadership.
• Identify requirements for improving operational and analytical dashboards as user needs evolve.
• Develop models and tools that identify healthcare inefficiencies and support improvement initiatives.
• Manage stakeholder relationships, monitor initiative impact, and support strategic projects.

Requirements

• 3+ years of technical experience using analytical tools and writing analytical reports.
• 2+ years of experience working with large datasets and turning analyses into relevant insights.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including at least five examples of presenting analysis to Director-level or higher leadership.
• 2+ years of SQL experience, including filtering, aggregation, and CTEs, or proficiency in R or Python with Pandas, loops, and statistical tests.
• 1+ year of experience with Google Sheets or Excel, including VLOOKUP, nested IF statements, and connected Sheets.
• 1+ year of experience in healthcare, finance, or insurance.

Nice to have

• Healthcare analytics and reporting experience.
• Experience managing value-based contracts at a payer or provider organization.
• Experience developing dashboards with Looker or other business intelligence and data visualization tools.
• Exposure to healthcare contract negotiations, risk adjustment, ACA marketplace, quality of care, or population health.
