Portfolio Oversight Reporting & Project Manager, Equity Products

Location: New York, NY; hybrid arrangement with 3 days per week on-site

Salary: $175,000–$190,000 annually for the NY, NY market

What you will do

• Lead cross-functional projects affecting equity products, investment processes, portfolio implementation, supporting technology, controls, and remediation.
• Develop project charters, workplans, milestones, risk and issue registers, governance updates, and implementation-readiness criteria.
• Own portfolio oversight reporting, including data sourcing, controls, production, distribution, retention, and continuous improvement.
• Produce management and governance reporting covering investment reviews, exceptions, portfolio-construction risks, pre-trade controls, and operating trends.
• Maintain metric definitions, business rules, data lineage, calculation logic, thresholds, ownership, and documentation.
• Partner with source-system owners and technology teams to automate reporting, improve data quality, and convert insights into control and process improvements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, data analytics, information systems, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
• Typically 5–8 years of experience in project or program management, investment operations, wealth or asset management, business management, data governance, reporting, or a related discipline.
• Experience leading cross-functional initiatives in a regulated, control-oriented environment.
• Strong knowledge of data stewardship, reporting controls, metric governance, reconciliation, and management information.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, strong analytical and communication abilities, and the ability to present complex information to executives and governance bodies.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States at the specified location; this position does not offer visa sponsorship.

Nice to have

• Agile or comparable project-management training.
• Experience with SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, Python, or similar reporting and analytics tools.
• Knowledge of equity separately managed accounts, investment reviews, portfolio restrictions, trading workflows, or compliance controls.
• Experience supporting audits, regulatory examinations, issue remediation, or senior governance committees.
