Portfolio Manager II - Power Finance

Location: In office at 555 South Flower Street, Los Angeles, California, US 90071

Salary: $53.56–$91.22 per hour, plus eligibility for bonus and/or commissions.

What you will do

• Support underwriting and portfolio management for power and project finance transactions.
• Own and manage an assigned credit portfolio, including credit risk assessment, covenant tracking, periodic reviews, and ongoing monitoring.
• Conduct due diligence, credit analysis, data analysis, and structuring recommendations for new and existing exposures.
• Prepare underwriting memorandums, annual reviews, trend cards, construction monitoring materials, client requests, and counterparty reviews.
• Partner with Relationship Managers, clients, Credit Risk, and cross-functional teams to deliver tailored credit solutions.
• Mentor junior colleagues, participate in conferences and travel, and contribute to team and business development initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of progressively increasing credit underwriting and portfolio management experience in relevant industries.
• Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to analyze data, develop recommendations, and present a point of view to senior management.
• Strong oral and written communication skills for credit documentation and processing.
• Experience with credit management and lending operations, including risk management principles and regulatory requirements.
• Ability to collaborate across the organization and provide professional client service.
