Senior Finance Director

Location: Fully on-site in Sacramento or St. Louis, United States, with up to 30% travel

Salary: $195,000–$210,000 per year

What you will do

• Direct finance activities for assigned portfolios and territories, including budgeting, performance monitoring, and strategic business initiatives.
• Develop and maintain financial cost models, transition budgets, equipment budgets, trackers, and operating reports aligned with client, business-unit, and GAAP requirements.
• Review budget proposals, prepare supporting documentation, and provide weekly visibility into financial performance and progress.
• Escalate financial issues, track action plans, and support operations in closing budget gaps and achieving performance goals.
• Assess risks related to labor agreements, payroll taxes, salary structures, service contracts, workers’ compensation, and liability claims.
• Support business development pricing, analyze cost drivers and market data, and improve customer value propositions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance or a related field, plus 8+ years of experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• MBA is highly preferred.
• Thorough understanding of financial policies, budgeting, cost modeling, performance reporting, and GAAP requirements.
• Experience managing employees, including hiring, work assignment, performance evaluation, training, and problem resolution.
• Ability to drive to work locations, customer sites, and company facilities; a valid driver’s license may be required.
• Must work fully on-site in Sacramento or St. Louis and be available for up to 30% travel.
