Senior Director, Product & Technology Finance

Location: Remote - United States

Base salary: $260,000–$390,000 USD per year, plus potential equity and commission depending on the position offered.

What you will do

• Develop and evolve the Product Finance function, including processes for evaluating investments with ambiguous or long-term returns.
• Partner with Engineering leadership on financial modeling, resource allocation, investment prioritization, and ROI analysis.
• Own engineering P&Ls, forecasts, annual operating plans, budgets, long-range plans, and quarterly and annual financial targets.
• Track cloud hosting KPIs and optimize costs across a dual-cloud environment using strategic efficiency initiatives.
• Support business development, corporate development, M&A evaluation, product rationalization, and developer productivity analysis.
• Lead complex financial communications, presentations, team development, recruiting, and talent management.

Requirements

• 15+ years of FP&A experience, including 2+ years supporting cloud infrastructure and cloud cost analysis.
• 5+ years of people management experience and the ability to manage a small, highly productive team.
• Experience with AWS or GCP cloud products is required.
• Experience in investment banking or consulting is required; experience partnering with Engineering is advantageous.
• Strong understanding of financial statements, including balance sheets, P&Ls, and margin drivers.
• BA/BS in Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a similar quantitative discipline; MBA or CPA is highly preferred.
