IT Recruiter

Location: United States; candidates should be local to the DC/DMV area. Fully remote with occasional onsite work in Fairfax, Virginia.

Salary: $85,000–$95,000 annually.

What you will do

• Modify and format job descriptions and create requisitions in iCIMS.
• Source, contact, prescreen, and maintain relationships with external candidates and incumbents.
• Partner with project managers, program directors, vice presidents, and hiring managers from requisition through hire.
• Post and market opportunities, build candidate pipelines, and track requisition activity in the ATS.
• Coordinate interviews, verify skills and clearances, negotiate offers, and disposition applications within 24 hours.
• Support proposal staffing, talent meetings, and virtual or onsite hiring events.

Requirements

• 5+ years of staffing or recruiting experience.
• Bachelor's degree with 5–8 years of experience, or equivalent experience.
• Hands-on experience with at least one job board, such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, Dice, or Clearance Jobs.
• Experience supporting both cleared and uncleared programs and high-volume hiring in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be located in the United States and local to the DC/DMV area.

Nice to have

• Federal civilian agency recruiting experience and incumbent capture experience.
• Hands-on experience with iCIMS.
• Hands-on experience or knowledge of Microsoft Copilot.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and knowledge of EEOC policies.
